Process
This is Mugi's overall process of production for illustrations in a children's picture book. *In some cases, there may be changes to the content or order.
1. Meeting
Contract and an interview of the customer's children's book story.
4-1. Sketch Layout
Create a dummy book sketch layout of all pages except the cover illustrations.
5. Cover Illustration
Follow the same process as in Stage 4.

2. Character Design
Design the two main characters of the story.
4-2. Revised Sketch
Revise and polish the dummy book sketch
6. End Paper
Create an endpaper design that best fits the completed book illustration and story.
3. Story-breakdown
Paginating the story manuscript. * if required.
4-3. Color
Add color and finalise the book illustrations of all pages.
7. Delivery
All completed illustrations will be delivered in JPG or PDF format.
